My children and I absolutely love Halloween and all the fun crafts and activities that we do together. Halloween craft time has become a tradition in our household. Because of this, I have created a free printable interactive haunted house coloring page for your family to enjoy! This haunted house coloring page is pretty awesome because the windows can open and close to reveal the spooky haunted house occupants. How to complete this free printable haunted house coloring page:
1. Click the “Download” button at the bottom of this post to print the free haunted house coloring page
Tip: I’ve found that the type of paper that you use to print your coloring pages out on matters! I’ve linked a great printer paper option below that can be used with both inkjet and laser printers, that works great when coloring with color pencils or markers, and its pretty cheap!
2. Color the haunted house, windows, and door to your liking
Tip: There are some small coloring areas on this page. You may need fine tip markers to color some of those smaller areas. I have linked my favorite dual tip markers below that have a larger marker tip on one end and a fine marker tip on the other end!
3. Use scissors to cut along the dotted line to detach the strip of windows on the right of the page
4. Then cut around each individual window and door
5. Apply a strip of glue to the left of each window opening where it is indicated by a glue bottle
6. Then attach each cut out window to it’s respective window opening at the glue strip. Each window has a number listed beside it that indicates which window opening it matches
7. Once dry, enjoy opening and closing the windows and door to reveal the spooky occupants within
