Supplies Needed to Make the Pumpkin Goody Bags
- Orange tissue paper
- Green floral tape
- Green pipe cleaners
- Halloween themed toys and candy – I got most of my toys from Dollar Tree. I also grabbed the slime at Walmart and the sticker boxes at Dollar General. Here’s another great option from Amazon for Halloween goody bag stuffers.
How to Make a Pumpkin Goody Bag
- First, grab the orange tissue paper and cut each sheet into 4 equal squares. Each square is now about 7 inches by 7 inches
- Place all of your Halloween goody bag stuffers in the center of the tissue paper.
- Then pull each of the tissue paper corners up and collect them in the center to form a pumpkin shaped pouch.
- Then use the green floral tape to tape all of the tissue paper corners together forming the pumpkin stem of the pumpkin pouch.
- Next, cut the green pipe cleaner in half
- Use one of the pipe cleaner halves to wrap around the pumpkin stem leaving a little tail hanging off the pumpkin stem.
- Take the free end of the pipe cleaner and wrap it around a pencil and then pull the pencil out. This should help to form a spiral pumpkin vine coming off of the pumpkin stem.
Look how adorable these pumpkin goody bags turned out! My daughter is so excited to hand these out to her class.
